RPM Fusion provides software that the Fedora Project or Red Hat doesn't want to ship. Izotope rx tutorials. How to install izotope ozone 5 crack. That software is provided as precompiled RPMs for all current Fedora versions and current Red Hat Enterprise Linux or clones versions; you can use the RPM Fusion repositories with tools like yum and PackageKit.
I want to dual boot Windows 7 and Linux Mint (it seems to be the best distro for a newbie like me) or CentOS though it's said to be a server OS mostly. I know how to install it so there's no probs with it (I tested Ubuntu on an older PC). No probs with Mixxx install thru a command line too. All mp3's are kept on a windows partition for shared access in both OS's. I've got a few questions though:
1. if I have a 64-bit cpu (celeron dual core) + 4 gb of ram, do I need to install a 64-bit version of Linux or it's better to upgrade up to 8 gb of ram for better performance? I have an extra slot. A 32-bit version detects 2.9 gb only as it should be. Moreover Mixxx is a 32-bit app and it doesn't take advantage of a 64-bit OS and ram over 3 gb. Correct me if I'm wrong.

2. I want to install OS with no codecs and add only those I need e.g. ones for mp3/wav/mp4 support. Is it possible to do? As I can see I can download a pack with all possible codecs inside. That's an option in Linux Mint.
3. Do I need a separate partition for swap? Do I need swap at all with 4 gb of ram? How much place does it need if so? [SOLVED]
4. Does Linux Mint install a GRUB bootloader like Ubuntu does to choose OS to boot? [SOLVED]
5. How to disable devices I don't need to save a battery power while working e.g. hdmi, wifi, realtek audio, webcam etc.? There's no device manager in Linux Mint as far as I can see. At least Ubuntu doesn't have any.
6. What DE to choose? What DE is the most stable? Gnome 3 is said to be buggy/unstable. I like XFCE: it's lightweight and fast. Maybe KDE? But I don't like its glossy look. Many ppl don't like it. What about LXDE? [SOLVED] It looks like MATE is a way to go.
Specs:
• cpu celeron dual core 1.9 gHz
• integrated intel video chip
• 4 gb ram ddr3 pc-1333
Ubuntu
• 250 gb hdd

Thank you in advance!
p.s. the only thing that makes me stay with Windows is AIMP3. It has a good feature to stop playback when a track is over. I didn't find this feature in Banshee or Rhythmbox. Please recommend a music player that can do this and supports hot keys/playlists.
Anyway before I have enough experience with Linux and be sure it's as good for my work as Windows is, I won't move to it completely. At least it's faster than windows home basic my laptop runs at the moment and it makes me happy.
